David Kaid is a New York–based actor, singer, and songwriter currently earning his BFA in Acting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). His work spans theater, film, TV, and music, shaped by years of professional training and performance.
At UNCSA, David recently appeared as Andrey in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and as Louis XVI in Marie Antoinette. He played Pavel Goldstein in The Last Boy – A New Play with Music during its 2022 Broadway benefit performance at The Town Hall. Earlier credits include performing with the Camp Broadway Ensemble at Carnegie Hall and a one-night appearance in Broadway’s Rocktopia.
On screen, David starred in the short film Biff and Me, earning Best Youth Actor at the 2020 Revolution Me Film Festival and Best Comedic Duo at the Brightside Film Festival. He also appeared in the award-winning indie feature There’s Always One, which received Best Ensemble Cast (Feature) at the 2018 American Filmatic Arts Awards.
As a musician, David has released two original songs—“Spellbound” and “More Than Friends”—which he wrote, recorded, and produced. During the pandemic, he created Spread Love, Sing Songs, a video concert project sent to senior care facilities nationwide to bring comfort and joy to the elderly.
David graduates in May 2026 and is passionate about telling stories that move, challenge, and inspire.
